I was contracted by Bundl to design and prototype their smart heated sleeping bag. The sleeping bag, constructed of a 60d ripstop nylon and stuffed with 750-fill goose down, features flexible heating sheets sewn into the baffling of the bag. The heat of the bag can be controlled with a connected app or by a button near the opening of the bag.
i was contracted to design the aesthetics of the bag, color ways, Tech Pack creation and several rounds of prototyping, including creation of the prototype in the photos and video below.
The project went live on kickstarter in September 2019 and Bundl hit their target goal within 4 days.
