I was fortunate to team up with Blash Design out of Madrid, Spain to design and create The Kona Backpack. My main work involved the backpack design, prototype creation, material selection, tech pack creation, and working with suppliers/manufacturers. The project was displayed in the 2019 Milan Design Week and launch on Kickstarter shortly after. All the prototype backpacks in our Kickstarter video, which was filmed around Madrid, were created by myself here in Boulder.
The Kona Backpack featured a 3D printed front pocket and logo badge.
